Mission Statement: Our Parish is a Christ-centred community. In Baptism we are challenged by the Spirit to live and share the Gospel message. Through proclaiming the Gospel message to all, Growth in Faith, Liturgy, Justice Issues and
Ecumenism we extend our love and care to all people providing support in renewing and deepening our faith. We value the gifts and talents of each of our Parishioners and invite them to use these in responding to Christ's invitation to all of us to follow Him and spread the Good News to the whole world.

Bonded and free

A speech impediment
makes you afraid to meet people,
blocks you from saying what you want to say,
makes you feel inferior to others,
and you anat to be healed and free
and that's what Jesus offered the one who came to him.

In many ways in life we are unfree
and Jesus offers healing from our burdens,
like he healed the man with the stammer.

We fear what others think of us,
what they might say about us;
we fear we'll not be able to love forever,
and that another will not love us;
we fear illness and death
and we fear we'll be left alone.
Jesus offers courage and freedom;
he unblocks our fears and anxieties;
he knows that we are capable of
love and forgiveness,
commitment and endurance
and his love grounds our confidence in ourselves.

He healed the speaker's impediment so that he could speak freely;
let him heal your impediments to love, to care, to live in joy
with the gift of his love and the example of
how he lived his life fully, lovingly and joyfully
in the face of suffering and of death.
