PARISH OF DRUMCREE
Mission Statement: Our Parish is a Christ-centred community. In Baptism we are challenged by the Spirit to live and share the Gospel message. Through proclaiming the Gospel message to all, Growth in Faith, Liturgy, Justice Issues and
Ecumenism we extend our love and care to all people providing support in renewing and deepening our faith. We value the gifts and talents of each of our Parishioners and invite them to use these in responding to Christ's invitation to all of us to follow Him and spread the Good News to the whole world.

Reflection

That we may not be lost

To be lost is a frightening experience,
like a child losing a parent in a big shop.
Maybe losing direction in marriage or a job,
losing health, good looks, life itself.

When we're lost we need a signpost,
or some way of finding direction.

Jesus is our way, our direction,
our signpost through life to God.

He is lifted up;
so that in every dangerous experience of life,
we can see him, our risen Lord on
Calvary.

In illness or depression, we know his presence,
in poverty and injustice, we know his care,
in mourning and loss, we know his compassion,
in our efforts to ease the pain of others,
we know he is with us,
we are his hand, his heart, his love today.

He is lifted up,
never out of our sight,
for God gave his only Son
so that we might not be lost,
but have eternal life.
