PARISH OF DRUMCREE
Mission Statement: Our Parish is a Christ-centred community. In Baptism we are challenged by the Spirit to live and share the Gospel message. Through proclaiming the Gospel message to all, Growth in Faith, Liturgy, Justice Issues and
Ecumenism we extend our love and care to all people providing support in renewing and deepening our faith. We value the gifts and talents of each of our Parishioners and invite them to use these in responding to Christ’s invitation to all of us to follow Him and spread the Good News to the whole world.

Prayers for the Diocesan Pastoral Plan - Cardinal Brady has asked that special prayers be said on 29/30th June and 1st July(Feast of St. Oliver Plunkett) for God’s guidance and blessing as we plan and work for the future in our
Archdiocese.  The prayers will also be said on Saturday mornings during the 10 a.m. Mass.

Lord we the Church of Armagh gather in prayer around the Altar of St. Patrick to ask your guidance and strength as we face the future.  Bless our work and decisions as we plan for the future of our Archdiocese.

St. Patrick you spread the Gospel in our land, rekindle our faith in Jesus and the Good News.  Help us to have courage to preach the truth and the generosity to live it each day.  Help us to see what is good and worthy in our society and seek new ways of bringing the Gospel to all.  As you lit the fire on the hill of Slane, rekindle our passion for Jesus and the Gospel.

St. Brigid, you opened your heart to the faith given to us through Patrick, move our hearts to take brave new steps in facing our future
together as the flock of Patrick in Armagh.
Give us a spirit of generous compassion for all
we meet.  May we seek to serve the Lord in the poor and marginalised, recognising the face of the Master in all we meet.

St. Malachy, you were tasked with reorganising the Irish Church in your day, help us to let go of old wineskins and search for new ways of being Church, ever loyal as always to all we have received and grateful to all who have gone before us.  You learned from meeting others, taking what was best for the Armagh and Irish Church, help us to discern wisely and with prudence.

St. Oliver Plunkett, as shepherd of this flock you endured great hardship even to the point of giving your life for the truth of the Gospel.  Guide all who shepherd the flock of Armagh and help us all to be faithful and courageous as we step into the future together.    Amen

              All our Holy Patrons ....
              Pray for us. Amen
