Mission Statement: Our Parish is a Christ-centred community. In Baptism we are challenged by the Spirit to live and share the Gospel message. Through proclaiming the Gospel message to all, Growth in Faith, Liturgy, Justice Issues and
Ecumenism we extend our love and care to all people providing support in renewing and deepening our faith. We value the gifts and talents of each of our Parishioners and invite them to use these in responding to Christ’s invitation to all of us to follow Him and spread the Good News to the whole world.

Justice for his chosen ones

Anything done in the cause of justice
and in the name of Jesus Christ
will bear fruit in plenty.

Our world suffers much injustice
and our heart pains
when we hear of homeless children,
when we see lines of refugees on our screens,
when we pass someone destitute looking for money,
and our heart pains with something of the pain of Jesus.

We wonder what one person can do?

The call of Jesus spurs us on:
to know that what we do  is
one person’s effort to
make a more just society,
feed some people who need out help,
educate more widely and care for the sick,
and look after the chosen ones of God.

The path towards justice is
blocked with obstacles of
greed, self-interest, lack of care
and we want to plant that path
with generosity, compassion
and care.

For the Lord looks on us
and at the needs of his people
and wants there to be faith on earth

If our faith is without care for the needy
it is a watered down faith
and is incomplete.
In the strengthening of our desires
and work
for the justice of Jesus
out faith in Jesus grows and is
