Reflection The love of God for all To accept that God first loved us, through no merits of our own, and that God is always there for us, although we forget God, is more difficult for us than following God's commandments. To accept that God loves us just as we are, unconditionally, gratuitously, and forever, is more difficult for us than to sacrifice as we should for God and for others. To accept that God forgives absolutely and does not hold our past against us is more difficult for us than to repent of the evil we have done. To accept this love of God is the only path to freedom and interior peace. And it is the underlying reason why we should accept each other and love each other just as we are.
