Eucharistic Congress 2012 - Evening of Preparation in St. Patrick's College, Killymeal Road, Dungannon, Tuesday 25th January 8 p.m. - 10 p.m. Whilst the evening will be of interest to everyone, it will be of particular interest to members of the Parish Pastoral Council, Parish Liturgy Group, Ministers of Word and Eucharist, those involved in the Music and Song Ministry and anyone actively involved in Parish life or in the life of the Church. A lot of practical ideas and suggestions will be offered as to how we might move forward in Parishes to develop peoples understanding and appreciation of Eucharist. All are welcome to attend. We are looking for 16 young people in the Diocese who will "build houses, build hope, huild communities" in a partnership project with the Armagh Diocesan Youth Commission and Habitat for Humanity NI. When I was younger and wondered about the consistent direction of my life, the words were there, gentle, persuasive, liberating - Follow me. When I wonder what I'll do with my life. In the doubts of how to give my time and love when the options were many, and some seemed more appealing than others - Follow me. When I wonder about the challenges of life, the needs of the poor in this unequal world, the abuse of the child and the vulnerable, the Church with its sinfulness and failings, the words still echo - Follow me and I will make you fishers of people. In the small ways that love challenges - the times for listening, for caring, for giving time, for a helping hand, with the people I'm with all the time, the words echo with their challenge and their comfort - Come, follow me.
