PARISH OF DRUMCREE
Mission Statement: Our Parish is a Christ-centred community. In Baptism we are challenged by the Spirit to live and share the Gospel message. Through proclaiming the Gospel message to all, Growth in Faith, Liturgy, Justice Issues and
Ecumenism we extend our love and care to all people providing support in renewing and deepening our faith. We value the gifts and talents of each of our Parishioners and invite them to use these in responding to Christ's invitation to all of us to follow Him and spread the Good News to the whole world.

From the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul, 27th September 2009 until the Feast Day in 2010 the Worldwide Vincention Family are invited to celebrate the 350th anniversary of the deaths of St. Vincent and his closest collaborator St. Louise de Marillac.

A special logo has been devised for this special year which attempts to depict the universal vision of the Vincentian Family which includes the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.  The logo consists of `Flames' of various colours, in four sets, as in four horizons, suggesting the world of diversity.  The flames in their setting suggest a dove, the Biblical symbol of the Holy Spirit, as are the Flames.

"There is a variety of gifts but always the same Spirit: there are all sorts of service to be done, but always to the same Lord; working in all sorts of different ways in different people" (1 Cor).

The theme for the year is "Charity -Missions".  The letter type suggestsdynamism, joy and youthfulness - which represents well the spirit of the Vincentian Family.
