Triduum of Reflection (26th - 28th June) PDF Print E-mail

Saint PaulPope Benedict XVI has announced that the Church will celebrate a ‘Year of St Paul’ to begin on 29th June 2008, the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul. This special period is designed to mark the 2,000th anniversary of the birth of the saint known as the ‘Apostle of the Gentiles’.

In preparation for this Pauline Year the Parish of Drumcree is organising a Triduum of Reflection to take place on Thursday 26th June, Friday 27th June and Saturday 28th June. At the 7.00pm Mass on each of those dates a guest speaker will reflect upon a particular aspect of St Paul’s writings. It is hoped that these short reflections will encourage parishioners to explore more profoundly the teaching of this most important apostle.

All are welcome to join in this spiritual preparation for the ‘Year of St Paul’.
