The Parish of Drumcree is committed to the protection and safety of all children and young people in its care in the spirit of the Gospel where Jesus says, ‘Anyone who welcomes a little child in my name welcomes Me.’ (Matthew 18:5)

The Parish Safeguarding Children Committee comprises of Mrs Mary McCann, Sr Mona Taggart, Fr Michael Toner and Fr Michael Sheehan. Should you have any concerns relating to the welfare of children and young people involved in Parish based activities please contact any of the above.

SHYNE is a group of young people aged 14 plus who are keen to develop their leadership skills and make a positive impact on their community whilst deepening their faith.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul

GroupsThe Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international voluntary Catholic organization of lay people. It was founded in 1833 by Blessed Frederic Ozanam who was inspired by the example of St. Vincent de Paul. The work of the Society is grounded in the Gospels and Catholic social teaching. Members attempt to live out the values of loving God and neighbour through an action programme directed to working with people in need.
