WE ARE Love is for Life Trust is a group of couples, priests, single people and
religious who develop and promote programmes for the active support of
married couples in their love for one another, and of families in their
relationships with one another. WHAT
WE BELIEVE. We believe that the love of husband and wife is one of the greatest
treasures of the Church and of society.
It can also be one of the most fragile and in need of support.
As Catholics we believe that this special relationship of the
married couple is a Sacrament. That simply means that the sexual love of a man and woman in
the committed relationship of marriage is one of the major ways that
Christ is made present in our world for its salvation.
What a wonderful belief! WHAT
WE ARE COMMITTED TO. We are also fully committed to the belief that the family is where human
life is lived at its best. Of
course that doesn’t happen automatically.
It has to be made happen by the efforts of all to develop the
qualities of love within the home. Some
of these qualities are: joy, thanksgiving, praise, forgiveness, respect,
freedom, prayer, good communication.
We Catholics call the family the Domestic Church, the place where
Christ lives through the love of family members.
It’s vital for the Church and for society that our families are
given all the assistance possible to make their homes real places of life
and love. WHAT
WE OFFER. This website offers a wide variety of ways you can join us in supporting
marriage and family life today, both your own and other’s.
