Today there is great sadness in the Parish as we bid farewell to our much loved Fr. Brian White. There was not a dry eye in the church as he celebrated his last Sunday Mass in the Church of St. John the Baptist. I know he leaves with a heavy heart but I know that our loss is Blackrock's gain. His ministry to the people of this Parish has been outstanding. I am sure that no matter where he goes in life he will be a shining example of how the gospel should be preached but more importantly lived. May God Bless you Father

Father I was saddened to hear that you are being moved to Blackrock. Our loss is Blackrock's gain. You brought great joy and new life to this parish, yourself and Fr. Christmas
A big thank you to both Fr.O'Dwyer and Father White for another beautiful end to the year with the celebration of all the Christmas ceremonies. As usual our Churches were adorned with candles truly illuminating the light of Christ Present within our parish. Indeed the message has continued throughout with a beautiful Celebration on new years day and indeed a very reverend and moving participation by the members of the SHYNE youth group today. We are indeed blessed by our two "Shepherds" and may God continue to bless you both in this year for priests.

Triduum
A truly wonderful celebration of the Eucharist. The speakers were very passionate about their subject and spoke in the language of the common man. Very thought provoking.
